Located at 4339 Main Street in Manayunk, The Bazemore Gallery is described as “a boutique art gallery.” The owner Lenny Bazemore loves introducing visitors to mid-level and well established contemporary artists. The Bazemore Gallery strives to “exhibit and sell original works of art which create synergy in the home and in the work place.”
Visitors of the gallery perused around the exhibit enjoying light snacks of wine, fruit and cheese. Inna, dressed in a beautiful silver sparkly cocktail dress, was very friendly and gracious. She mingled throughout the crowd introducing herself and was eager to know what everyone thought of her work. She even took “selfies” with everyone for her personal scrapbook.
Inna’s motto is “turning people into masterpieces” and she uses body paint and various photography techniques to create her unique pieces. She loves to play with forms and colors and has worked with various photographers, models and fashion designers. I especially liked one piece entitled “Touch and Be Touched.”
Guests also took a moment to inspect the beautiful EcoWall that was located in the center of one wall of the room that was sprouting beautiful green grass, plants and flowers. EcoWalls strive to replace the green footprint in urban environments by creating lush gardens on buildings, vertical surfaces and free standing structures.
The exhibit is on display until July 18th, so be sure to check it out and have your own “zen” experience.
