EXPLORE PHILLY: What is your favorite thing to do in Philly?
FRANKEL: The restaurants are great, the people are great, usually I’m working when I’m here and I want to get back to my daughter. But last time I was here, I was at Stephen Starr, he just opened a restaurant in NY, so now Philly has come to NY.
EXPLORE PHILLY: What’s the best part about Atlantic City?
FRANKEL: I love Atlantic City, I usually stay at The Borgata or Caesars. And that boardwalk is really cute, especially for my daughter. There’s candy stores and it’s actually on the sand, so I love it. And the restaurants of course are always great.
EXPLORE PHILLY: Tell us the skinny on Skinnygirl?
FRANKEL: Skinnygirl has become a closet full of cocktails. It started with one margarita and now we have a huge assortment of wines, we have vodka, we have spicy lime margarita and the watermelon lime margarita which people are obsessed with. So we are always innovating, and the brand is strong and thriving.
EXPLORE PHILLY: Are you working on any other fun projects?
FRANKEL: Well the Housewives (Real Housewives of New York) just wrapped. The brand Skinny Girl has everything from coffee to lunch meats to microwave popcorn, to sweeteners, liquid water enhancers. The Skinny Girl lives on.
EXPLORE PHILLY: Speaking of Housewives, how did you feel about the reunion?
FRANKEL: I thought that the whole season was really dramatic. The ratings reflected the drama. And I needed a good summer off at the beach with my daughter to kind of wash it off me.
EXPLORE PHILLY: What do you think about the Brad and Angelina divorce filing, any advice?
FRANKEL: Oh I don’t give unsolicited advice particularly on relationships.
EXPLORE PHILLY: Anything else you want your fans to know?
FRANKEL: I’m just really so grateful to have so many beautiful people here and dedicated fans waiting on line at this liquor store. I’m excited to sign bottles and meet everyone. I love this city and I’m happy to be here.
